Interview process Head of Product

We feel grateful that you're considering joining Tymeshift to help us create the future of WFM. Below is what you can expect from our interview process.


Introduction

You'll have a 30-min call on Whereby where you'll meet Duska, our People Ops. She will be happy to answer any questions you have and will also double-check your location, notice period, salary expectations, and any necessary key skills.


Understanding how you work

If we think it's a good match, we'll schedule a 1-hour conversation with our Product Managers, Samanta &MJ.

During this interview, we'll cover:
The role of Product Managers at tymeshift
Your experience and motivation
Your skills and special talents!
How you believe you can contribute to tymeshift's Product growth
Your questions to us — just as important as our evaluation of you are your evaluation of us. We care deeply about making sure the fit is mutual!

Meet David

You'll meet David, our CEO, and potentially your future manager 😊 (1-hour). During this call, you will get to know each other better.
It's an excellent opportunity to learn more about the history of our product, Product Vision, our growth goals, customers, and as well as learn how you will work together in creating a customer-focused approach to our product by making and evolving decisions in a rapidly changing environment.



Meet Tiago &David


During this meeting, you will again meet with David, but as you will work closely with Engineering, help guide them through our Product Vision, we want you to meet Tiago as well, our CTO (90 minutes call).
During this call, you will discuss how you will collaborate with engineering to develop a roadmap and strategy, your approach, your previous experience of working with Engineering &Product teams and understanding technical challenges, and how you will all work together.


Personality Assessment


We've started using a personality assessment with our teams called TAIS. It helps us understand our strengths, opportunities for improvement, and most importantly how we can best work together to support each other.

The test itself is performed online, at your own pace, and will take 20-30min to complete. After the test, you'll speak with Corey Dalton, who is our Head of People. Corey will speak with you about your test results and after that, he'll write up a summary which you may keep. Many of us have personally found the TAIS Assessment quite beneficial and we hope you will as well Smiling Face.


Offer

The final step is an offer. We'll hop on a call and review it together to make sure everything makes sense and answer any questions you have.
